Graham started as an Electronics Technician in the British Army. As the communications equipment was converted to digital systems Graham's interest started moving more towards the support of IT and computer systems.
By the time he left the Army in 1993 he was an experienced Home Computer and PC Support Technician and he moved around the country acquiring more skills and knowledge until he finally settled in Selby, North Yorkshire. These skills include: |

| The primary role involved the configuration and support of PCs and associated peripherals for an international PC retailer. Secondary roles were Assistant Manager of the highstreet store and sales advisor. Graham is very proud that even though the technical aspect was very intense, he still managed to outperform the other sales advisors while managing to maintain an efficient workshop. |

| This role saw Graham providing 1st Line Telephone Support to clients of a large international IT support company. During this time he completed training for the support of Epson Stylus Color printers and was among of the first team of advisors on the Epson Stylus Printer Support Help Line after it was outsourced by Epson. |

| During his time in this role Graham set up a Training facility for a large steel and plastics manufacturer where he provided user training for MS Excel,MS Word and MS Access. He also developed an Access database, later used by all divisions of the company, to store and maintain production specifications. Graham was also involved in the installation and day-to-day support of LAN and WAN technologies and equipment. |

| This role had Graham providing support to 17 sites around the UK and Holland. This involved both remote support and site visits. He was solely responsible for the creation and successful rollout of a company wide antivirus system that was centrally updated. The support he provided to the company was 1st, 2nd and 3rd line for all aspects of the IT equipment in use. |

| Graham was Project Manager for Email, Internet and Intranet within a large European food manufacturing company. This also involved a large amount of technical support in this area. He was involved in the negotiation of third party contracts and the specifying of equipment, suppliers and software. Graham successfully completed a large number of major projects on time and his good reputation was well known throughout the company. |
